Long Way
The 'Long Way' series (2019) captures the journey of a self that walks the longest of roads. Composed of three works—Long Way I, II, and III—each is a pigment print on German Hahnemühle fine art paper, produced as a limited edition of 100/100 at 50×51.2cm. The 'long, long way' signifies not a mere physical distance but the inner journey a person confronts within life. On that road whose end is never in sight, Minseok Kang's racer keeps running without stopping.
Car
The 'Car' series (2021) is an illustration project that radically simplifies and reinterprets the form of the automobile. The three works—Car I, II, and III—are edition pieces completed with a Lamina frame. As the car's outline drifts further into abstraction, the desire and energy it contains become all the more vivid. The way essence is revealed as form grows simpler—this is the core question Minseok Kang explores in his illustration work.
