The exhibition 《CAUTION》, organized by CONTINUE AUCTION, will be held from March 26 to April 8, 2025, at 42 Samseong-ro 122-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Featuring seven artists including Kang Minseok, this group exhibition highlights diverse visual interpretations of contemporary society through painting, sculpture, and media art.
The exhibition's title, 《CAUTION》, reflects the emotional boundaries, shifting identities, and fragmented memories of modern life—offering a visual cue to pause and reflect. Led by project director Kim Chaeyong (@etal_kcy), and spatially directed by Eom Soyeon (@eomsoyeon_continueauction), the show connects viewers to the artists’ inner worlds through immersive curatorial design.
At the entrance, the “CAUTION ZONE” provides portfolios, techniques, and process insights, helping visitors engage with each artist’s unique perspective.
Among them, Kang Minseok presents 20 works from his major series: “Endless Force,” “Time Leap,” “Paint Desert,” and “Ice Cream.” Using the car as a metaphor for identity, speed, and inner emotion, he employs acrylics, squeegee scraping, and thread-based textures to blur the line between abstraction and material form.
His “Ice Cream” series, showcased in a dedicated space, plays with fleeting memories through sculpture and media work—presenting a colorful, humorous narrative that reflects the ephemeral yet meaningful moments of everyday life.
As a curated project by CONTINUE AUCTION, 《CAUTION》 goes beyond visual presentation, offering a multilayered exploration of identity, memory, and desire through the distinct voices of contemporary artists.
The opening will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 4 PM.
